Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that allows reconstructing eyebrows fully. It is possible to achieve the most natural finish or bolder looking effect. Eyebrow microblading is performed by manual deposit of pigment under epidermal layer of the skin by a hand held manual tool, therefore, small discomfort during the procedure will be present as minor breakage of the skin is taking place.
Unlike permanent makeup brow treatment, microblading technique involves drawing individual, crisp hair strokes that are more natural looking. Microblade is several times thinner than the needles used for tattoos. Compared to hairstroke technique performed with PMU machine, microblading strokes heal a lot thinner and crisper and do not blur.Microblading and manual tattoos have originated in Asia, and became popular on a global level only several years ago.
This microblading method is perfectly suitable if client wants to correct current eyebrow shape, add volume to brows or fill in sparse areas. It is also suitable for clients with no eyebrow hairs, as we will create a new, beautiful, naturally looking brows. This treatment is ideal if client has suffered from cancer and due to chemo/radio therapy lost brow hairs or suffers from alopecia or other medical condition that resulted in eyebrow hair thinning or loss.
With the microblading technique I create microbladed hair stroke flow that follows the direction of natural eyebrow hairs, naturally blending in and creating natural finish. The aim of this technique is to create the brow that nobody would be able to tell that it has undergone semi-permanent treatment.
Is this treatment single procedure?
After initial procedure, one retouch procedure is required to refresh the strokes make the look more defined, that will prevent pigment from fading too fast. It is usually performed after 4-8 weeks after first treatment.
How long the treatment takes?
In average first treatment is done in about 1.5 h . Following top up procedures take 0.5- 1 h.
How long the colour lasts?
Microblading effect usually lasts between 1-2 years. The pigment is attached to skin cells of the skin layer, and in theory should last as long as the skin regeneration cycle. However, various factors influence colour durability, for example, skin type, lifestyle, exposure to the sun, facial treatments that regenerate skin etc.
Does it hurt?
During first pass client will feel discomfort, but usually no one is reporting extremely painful experience. People compare it to plucking/treading/ waxing. If compared to body tattoo, microblading is far not as painful.
